Design Showroom: Sag Harbor

Complete reconstruction of an 1830s storefront building in Sag Harbor’s Historic District, creating a new 2,700 sf showroom for high-end designer home goods. Exterior entrance utilized the original red bricks salvaged from the centuries-old structure. Hand stained shingles in an intricate diamond pattern, as well as “antique” Bendheim glass windows in metal frames completed the classic restoration. Interior featured custom-crafted wall treatment, ceiling, beams, flooring and shelving made of salvaged antique oak from an historic Pennsylvania barn. Custom built moldings; installation of one-of-a-kind burnished steel spiral staircase leading to open office space in mezzanine; and state-of-the-art kitchen complete this meticulously designed space.

If you’re building in the Hamptons, there’s no choice other than Tom O’Donoghue. Tom over-delivers on every level…his crew and subcontractors are above par. The job exceeded all of our expectations.
